Connection problems

I try to use your application, but i can't connect to Apideo server, I have this error message :
Error code: NetConnection.Connect.Failed
Message: Unable to connect to Apideo server!
I think i have not the right port open, so can you tell me which are needed to run your application ?

Hi Guillaume,

Apideo is using the "RTMP" protocol, which is running on port 1935. So your web browser will try to connect to port 1935 of the Apideo servers.

If you are trying to access Apideo from your home, this should not be a problem. On the other hand, some corporate firewalls sometime block the RTMP protocol.

By the way, the next version of Apideo (due this summer) should have a fallback mechanism to other protocols (like RTMPT) that are more friendly with corporate firewalls.
