We are very happy to announce a new Apideo release: Apideo version 1.7.1 is available.

As usual since Apideo v1.5, you do not need to do anything to update Apideo, if you are using the apideo.js file stored on our servers.

Due to a big and somewhat unanticipated increase in demand, you might have noticed a few performance problems in June. This new release fixes those performance issues. Apideo is now faster than it has ever been, and supports a bigger number of simultaneous users in the same room than ever. You can now put more than 1000 users in the same room without any impact on performance.

This version also contains various fixes that improve Apideo stability.

Finally, we keep working to improve Apideo. Our next big goal is to allow Apideo to work behind HTTP proxies. Version 1.7.1 has already some support for proxies but there is still a long road to reach full stability.
